A unique natural landmark at 1480 meters above sea level. It is a crater-like snow cauldron, where in the spring the water falls into a thick snowfield filled with avalanches in a gentle waterfall and thus cuts a hole in the shape of a cupboard into the snow. The quiet valley is named after the (pra) Matk farm on its slope. There are four mountain farms in Matk’s corner. There are more options for a culinary stop.
Is an important cave site. It is located at 1700 meters above sea level, below Mount Olseva. It is 115 meters long and 40 meters wide. From here there are beautiful views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the Logar Valley. Ice cave people are supposed to be staying in the cave, some 30,000 years ago. Human footprints and bones of a cave bear have been discovered in Potočka Zijalka.
